With so many schools diminishing (or eliminating) art programs, it’s more important than ever to find ways to inspire our youth to think creatively and learn new ways to express themselves positively!

Each artist participating in this workshop is a local, working professional.

Confirmed artist lineup: Cori Berg (Craft), Ashley Jones (Mixed Media), Ixchel Aguilar (Painting), Riley Holloway (Drawing), Jason Kinney (Painting), Eddie Medina (Comics), Harmony White (Water color), Kate Colin (Water color), Jerod Davies (Spray paint collage), Bari Candy (Charcoal/Spraypaint),  Issac Davies (MC), Kelly Nygren (Percussion), DJ Ez Eddie (DJ).

The set-up will be studio, not classroom style. Parents must stay on premises. No need to bring anything but your creativity and excitement!

If you would like to volunteer or are interested in donating art supplies or cash donations for a future Kids Workshop please email: jenn@

As 2011 draws to a close, my heart is full of anticipation for 2012.  I’ve taken the last year off for family business and have had the opportunity to watch this last year’s activity and growth from an outside perspective.  To see the work, the dedication, the passion and the direction grow and evolve has been both humbling and beyond encouraging.  Since 2006 when Mike, Dave and I dreamt over a cup of coffee and planted the seeds for our first show, it seems like the amazing ride we embarked on has only gotten more and more wild.  The best part about it is that we have gone from a small group of dreaming and idealistic friends and grown into an amazing and beautiful community full of intentionality and vision.

My thanks and undying gratitude go out to every one of you, from artist to attendee, sponsor to customer, for every ounce of love that you have poured out into the Dallas arts community.  I can see 2012 bringing us more connections, more focus and more importantly, more Love to you and to our community.  I’m looking forward to hugging your neck at the next show.

Utopia – A Collaborative Dream

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on October 4, 2010 by artlovemagic

Haven’t we all dreamed of Utopia?

A place where all humans of all colors, of all cultures and passions come together to move progressively forward?  I say let’s try it on for size.

On Wednesday, October 13th, 2010 we will explore Utopia collaboratively with Seeds Of Success, a local Not For Profit who also strives to educate communities on ways to escape the rat race and indulge your own unique ideals.  They will bring independent vendors who can help answer questions about entrepreneurship and success, while ArtLoveMagic does what we do best – rock the house.

DJ Dean Dillinger rockin' it right.

Several local artists and musicians will be out performing live for your visual/audible pleasures and we even invite you to get creative with us!  Come with your guitars, keyboards, voices and hands and be a part of Utopia – A Collaborative Dream.

This show is unique since it is in Arlington (our first time) and ArtLoveMagic shows are historically all ages.  This one is NOT, so leave the kiddo’s safe at home and come enjoy the night with other 18 and up local badasses.  DJ Dean Dillinger will be spinning beats throughout the night, and one of our veteran artists – Bianca Elise will be bringing out her risqué paintings that she sometimes has to leave at home due to the family friendly nature of our other events.
